Seung-ni Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Seung-ni Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a proven fighting art developed from traditional Jiu-Jitsu by the Gracie family of Brazil. Even though Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu contains standup techniques for winning a fight, it is famous for its devastating ground fighting techniques.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was specifically developed to allow a smaller person defeat a larger person by sophisticated application of leverage and technique. Gaining superior position on your opponent and applying a myriad of chokes, holds, locks and joint manipulations becomes the foundation for this fun martial art. Since most real fights end up on the ground, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu¹s primary focus is taking the fight to the ground using simple takedown techniques, controlling and neutralizing your opponent¹s aggressiveness, then manipulating him into a vulnerable position for a finishing technique. The U.S. has the highest rape and physical violence rates in the world. One out of every six men will be attacked and one out of three women will be sexually assaulted or raped in their lifetime. In a moment of crisis, Jiu-Jitsu could mean the difference between escaping an assault and becoming a statistic.
